Motorola DP3661e

Part of the revamped MOTOTRBO Enhanced (‘e’) range, the super compact Motorola DP3661e is designed to deliver high-end digital two-way radio performance into the smallest possible chassis. Lightweight and portable, the DP3661e is both ergonomic, as well as easy to use and carry. Providing maximum mobility in busy environments and offering the highest quality radio communication.
 
Despite its smal frame, the Motorola DP3661e is feature-rich and robust, built to stand up to heavy use in harsh industrial and outdoor environments. It has an IP68 rating for water and dust ingress, meaning it can withstand being fully submerged in water.
 
With a front profile of just 100mm x 56mm, the DP3661e manages to fit in a high-quality speaker, a five-line colour display that can handle text messages up to 200 characters, and a small keypad including programmable buttons and a navigation pad. There are further programmable buttons on the side, which can be used to create one-touch access to favorite functions, plus the Push-To-Talk button
 
On the top of the unit, alongside the compact antenna and on/off/volume adjustment knob, there is a channel selector and a clear Emergency Button.
 
Thanks to a redesigned amplifier and the new SINC+ advanced noise cancellation, audio quality is outstanding, improved receiver sensitivity provides 16 percent greater coverage compared to previous Motorola digital two-way radios. A new smart energy and low voltage battery system boosts the maximum time the unit can operate on a single charge to 20 hours.

There are also enhanced privacy encryptions to ensure discreet transmission of sensitive information.
 
The Motorola DP3661e also supports advanced location tracking both indoors and outdoors, making it easy to find users in the event of an emergency or monitor work team movements on larger sites. Bluetooth 4.0 can be linked to beacons to enable indoor location tracking, while the handset supports multi-constellation satellite navigation via GPS and GLONASS for highly accurate wide-area location tracking. WiFi connectivity allows seamless firmware updates to happen automatically over the air.
 
Capable of operating in both analogue and digital modes, the DP3661e is a highly versatile two-way radio option, able to interoperate equally with legacy analogue handsets and the latest cutting-edge digital models.
