Motorola DP4400e
Motorola’s MOTOTRBO brand has been the main driving force moving forward Digital two-way radio technology with wave after wave of innovation and development. Now, with the latest E-Series release, Motorola has again set new standards in adapting two-way radio to meet the needs of both business and industry in the 21st Century.
The DP4400e is a non-display model boasting crystal clear audio, prolonged battery life, advanced data integrations and multiple workforce safety protocols. With the advantages of the latest digital technology, the DP4400e is perfect for deployment in large-scale industrial environments, for use by supervisors and coordinators, as well as by skilled professionals, across a wide range of sectors.
Compatible with the MOTOTRBO range of advanced software solutions, the DP4400e can be used with advanced trunking systems to connect hundreds of users into a single network, with multi-site deployments where different radio networks are linked via broadband, and with multiple device configurations that allow interoperation between two-way radios, mobile phones, fixed line phones and more.
Motorola’s best-ever audio performance is delivered by the latest IMPRES amplifier system, intelligent volume control, SINC+ noise cancellation, acoustic feedback suppression and microphone distortion control. The outcome of this is, no matter what environment you are working in or how much background noise there is, calls can be heard loud and clear, with a minimum of interference and crisp, natural-sounding voice.
Text messaging can be used when voice communication is not suitable. Controllers can send tickets to individual users, allocate specific tasks to be completed and make private calls to individuals rather than having to broadcast across the entire network.
Following an antenna redesign, the DP4400e boasts 8 percent better signal coverage than its predecessor, the DP4400. Thanks to the new IMPRES smart energy system, it now offers a maximum of 29 hours of battery life. It is also a handset built to withstand day-to-day knocks, certified to industry standards for shock, vibration and temperature extremes and with an IP68 rating for dust and water ingress.
Safety features designed to boost the protection of staff working in hazardous environments include Lone Worker, which is a monitoring system that requires users to check in with colleagues at fixed intervals. There is also a one-touch emergency alarm button that transmits interrupt options for making urgent calls.
