Motorola DP2400e
The Motorola DP2400e solidifies Motorola’s key role in driving forward the future of Digital two-way radio. The Motorola DP2400e is designed to put the latest technology into the hands of everyday workers, building on the success of the superceded DP2400 handset whilst delivering improvements with better audio, better coverage and a better range of features.
This non-display radio features a capacity of 16-channels, 3 programmable buttons and is available on both UHF & VHF frequencies. Further to this, the Motorola DP2400e can operate in both analogue and digital modes.
Supporting Motorola’s MOTOTRBO digital system, the Motorola DP2400e is the next generation of two-way radio solutions, bringing innovations such as multi-site trunking, radio-broadband integration and advanced control centre operations which are proven to boost efficiency and coordination across the biggest organisations.
Compared to the previous model, the Motorola DP2400e delivers 16 percent better signal coverage and, like the rest of the revamped MOTOTRBO range, benefits from up to 29 hours of battery life with the IMPRES smart energy system.
With an upgraded IP67 rating for water and dust ingress, the Motorola DP2400e digital radio is capable of operating in harsh environments such as construction and manufacturing, where day-in, day-out durability is a must. It meets tough military-grade specifications for resistance to shock, vibration, impact, humidity and temperature extremes.
As with the rest of the DP2000e range, the DP2400e includes Motorola’s best-ever audio technology. This breakthrough system provides consistent sound quality in all environments, with SINC+ advanced noise cancellation making sure messages can be heard, loud and clear, regardless of background noise. It also features intelligent audio, meaning the volume automatically adjusts to compensate for noise in the environment, as well as an acoustic feedback suppressor.
The Motorola DP2400e comes programmed with Lone Worker remote monitoring as standard, along with an emergency alert button and transmit interrupt features. The ability to make and receive private and group calls means you can communicate with certain colleagues without disturbing others, and there are options for both basic and enhanced privacy encryption for ensuring communications remain secure over the airwaves. Alternative methods of communication to voice are supported in the form of pre-programmable text messages, which are sent with the push of a button. There is also a vibrating belt clip option alerting the wearer to a call or text discreetly.
